MARDELL McMILLIN KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT

Mardell Ann McMillin, 20, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Delbert McMillin of rural St. Olaf, was killed instantly about 7:50 a.m. Mon., Jan. 29 in a two-car crash on highway 101, four miles north of Vinton.

The Benton County sheriff's office said her car went out of control and crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with a car driven by John Boyden, 22, of Vinton.

Boyden, a high school teacher at Urbana, was en route to school at the time. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in serious condition.

Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran, Garnavillo.
