Neverman, Freiderich J. 1833-1918

Freiderich J. Neverman was born August 3, 1833 at Gnauesdorf, Mecklenberg Schwerin, Germany, and was married Nov. 4, 1862, to Miss Marie Nevermann of the same place. This union was blessed with five children, two of whom are dead, Ida died in Germany and Henry died two years ago near Castalia; the three surviving children being Mrs. Paulena Schroeder and Mrs. Bertha Schroeder of Wagner township and Fred Neverman of Monona township. Besides his aged widow, who has tenderly cared for him during his long illness, he leaves 3 children, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. H. Kamps of Luana.

He came with his family to this country in 1870, living four years at Farmersburg, then they moved on a farm in Monona township, where they lived 22 years, then they came back to Farmersburg, making their home here for 20 years more; then Mr. Neverman's health began to fail, so they sold their home here and for two years they have made their home among their children, he passing away at the home of Mrs. August Schroeder, Oct 25th, at the ripe old age of 85 years, 2 months and 22 days. He was laid to rest Oct. 28th in the Gooding cemetery after a funeral service at the home conducted by Rev. Braun.

Frederick J. Neverman was born Aug. 3, 1833, at Gnavesdorf, Mecklenburg, Schurrin, in Germany, and was married Nov. 9, 1862 to Miss Marie Nevermann, of the same place. This union was blessed with five children, two of whom are dead. Ida died in Germany, Henry died near Castalia. Three children survive him namely; Mrs. Paulena Schrader, Mrs. Bertha Schrader, of Wagner township; and Fred Nevermann, of Monona township, and one sister, Mrs. H. Kamps of Luana, besides his aged widow, who has tenderly cared for him in his long illness. He also leaves to mourn besides his children, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
