Raymond William Radloff, son of Louis and Adelia (Voget) (sic) Radloff, was born Dec. 9, 1909, in Read Township, Clayton County, Iowa, and died July 14 1957, at his home at Riverside, Calif., following a heart attack.
Mr. Radloff received his education at the Clayton Center school. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church, Clayton Center. He was self-employed as a mechanic and welder.
On Feb. 10, 1934, he was married to Helen Opitz of Strawberry Point.
He is survived by his parents at Clayton Center, his wife and three daughters Joan, Mrs. John (Janann) Dawson, and Jean, all of Riverside, Calif., one grandchild, also of Riverside; three sisters, Mrs. Annice Halverson, Manchester; Mrs. Eddie (Ruby) Kadlec, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Fred (Ilene) Stendel, Elkader.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran church, Clayton Center, with the Rev. Zerhusen officiating.
Pallbearers were: Ray Glesne, Harold Wilker, LeRoy Reardon, Carl Mueller, Freddie Lahrs, and Reuben Glawe.
