According to Iowa State Patrol officials the accident also involved a car driven by Christa Allen, 45, of Edgewood, and a semi-trailer truck driven by Laverne Moudry, 52, of Protivin. At Central Community Hospital, at Elkader, where Allen was taken, officials declined to comment on her condition.
