Funeral services for Kenneth Kjosa were held in the Marion Lutheran Church, Gunder, last weekend. The Rev. Keith Klemm officiated.
Kenneth Kjosa, son of Thov and Gurina (Houg) Kjosa, was born July 25, 1905 in Clayton County and died in the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, March 1, 1979. He was baptized and confirmed in the Norway Lutheran Church and attended school in Marion Township.
Kenneth married Selma Mikkelson January 19, 1936 and worked as a farmer and as a road maintenance operator in Clayton County until his retirement in 1968.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonja Rosalin; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Grace) Anderson; and one brother, Joseph.
He is survived by his wife, Selma; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Sandra) Holck of Kanawha; one son, Ted of St. Charles, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Willie (Lena) Bergan of Postville and Mrs. Glen (Stella) Larson of Elkader; one brother, Louis of St. Olaf; and five grandchildren.
Burial was in the Marion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Muehlethaler Funeral Service, Elgin, was in charge of the arrangements.
