Pearl Timmerman Services

Funeral services for Pearl Timmerman were held Friday, April 5, 1996, 10:00 a.m. at the Garden City United Methodist Church, Monona, Dr. Gary Dobbins officiated. Organist was Priscilla Miene and soloist was Carole Gerdes. Pallbearers were Leland Moose, Richard Moose, Jim Moose, Doug Moose, Don Moose, Kevin Timmerman and Loren Timmerman. Burial was in the Luana City Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home of Monona was in charge of services.

Pearl Timmerman, daughter of William and Bertha (Nevermann) Wilke, was born March 8, 1916 at Dubuque, Iowa. She received her education in the Dubuque Public School.

Pearl was united in marriage to Theodore E. Timmerman on December 21, 1937 in the Evangelical parsonage in Monona by Rev. Harvey Reduege. The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1987. They farmed northeast of Monona until moving into Monona in 1981. Pearl enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs.

Pearl died Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at the Elkader Care Center in Elkader, Iowa. She was a resident there since December 29, 1992.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Theodore, who died July 19, 1991, daughter-in-law, Marie Timmerman; granddaughter, Karen Timmerman; two sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors include one son, Milo, of Luana; one daughter, Marilyn and husband, Albert Moose, of Monona, nine grandchildren and their spouses, Leland and Cindy Moose, Richard and Deb Moose, James and Lesa Moose, Doug and Kelly Moose, Kevin and Lauri Timmerman, Loren and Chris Timmerman, Kristi and Terry Guy, Julie Timmerman, and Kari Timmerman; 13 great grandchildren, Donald, Jennifer, Bill, Terry, Amber, Kelby, Jarred and Jordan Moose, Andrew, Christa and Dylan Timmerman, and Travis and Tyler Guy, and a host of other relatives and friends.
