Alex Moser Dies Monday At 80 Years - Well Known Resident of Osterdock Passes -
Alex Moser, 80, resident of the Osterdock community for many years died Monday June 17,1946, at 4:30 p.m. at his farm home near that town. The funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel church in charge of Rev. William Domres, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church in Guttenberg. Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery in charge of the Beerman funeral service.
Mr. Moser, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moser was born in Switzerland July 16, 1865, and came to this county in 1867, when a small boy. The family located in this community and he had been a resident here all his life.
On March 7, 1906 he married Miss. Jenny Harry at the Fairview church. The couple lived on their farm home where he pursued his occupation of farmer.
In addition to Mrs. Moser, Mr. Moser is survived by one brother John of Independence, Missouri. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. They were Fred, Robert and Nick Moser and Mrs. Mary Friedlein.
