Realto Hansel - Services for Realto Hansel, 77, retired Garber farmer, were at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Garber, with the Rev. G. E. Heese officiating. Burial was in the Hansel cemetery, Garber.
Mr. Hansel died Monday evening June 22, 1953 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Marcus Connelly, near Garnavillo. The Tuecke Funeral Home, Guttenberg, was in charge of arrangements.He was born March 6, 1876 at Garber the son of George and Mary Elizabeth "Baker" Hansel.
Survivors are three sons, Leo, of Elkport, Walter of Howe, Idaho, and Vernon of Garber; five daughters, Mrs. Bertha O'Connor, Milwaukee, Mrs. Naomi Garlow, Colesburg, Mrs. Lucille Hansel and Mrs. Elsie Mallory, Garber, and Mrs. Eunice Connelly; 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother Japen, Manchester, and a sister Mrs. Jane Gray, Dubuque.
