of Sartell, formerly of Marietta
July 4, 1914 - Aug. 9, 2007

Funeral services will be 1PM Monday August 13, 2007 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marietta, MN for Margerie M. Huckle, 93 of Sartell and formerly of Marietta who died Thursday at the Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center in Sartell. The Rev. Brad Larson will officiate and burial will be in Augusta Cemetery, Marietta. Friends may call from 6 - 7:30 PM Sunday August 12, 2007 at the Country Manor Chapel in Sartell and 1 hour prior to services Monday at the church in Marietta. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:30 PM Sunday at the nursing home chapel with Chaplin Gary Skramstad officiating. Arrangements are being made by the Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Margerie was born July 4, 1914 in Clayton County, Iowa to John & Mary (Nebel) Kriese. She married Chester R. Huckle on April 28, 1938. They farmed in rural Bellingham from 1939-1944 and in rural Nassau from 1944-1978. They continued to live on the farm until 1999 when they moved to Sartell. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marietta, and the Augusta Birthday Club. Margerie was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Joyce (Robert) Raetz of Sauk Rapids; Joan Huckle of St. Joseph; Robert (Susan) Huckle of Parkers Prairie; grandchildren, Cindy (Randy) Eiynk, Kim (Todd) Gorman, Pam (Travis) Benoit, Jennifer (Bill) Marty, Tricia, Reid (Krista), and Joshua Huckle; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester on (8-6-2004), sister, Savera Streich, brothers, Alfred, Clarence, Eldon, John, Lavern, Myrl and Willis.
