Delandra Howe

Delandra Marie Elizabeth Howe, nine month and twenty-nine day old infant daughter of Mike Howe and Jamie Trappe of Monona, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI, following a long illness. She was born August 17, 2006 in La Crosse, WI.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19 at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, with Rev. Bruce Hanson officiating. Burial was in Monona City Cemetery.

Delandra enjoyed watching people and grabbing objects with her hands.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, George and Carol Howe of Monona; her maternal grandparents, Mark and Kona Trappe of Harpers Ferry; her maternal great-grandparents, Patricia Phillips of Hudson, WI, Burton Potter of Detroit, MI and Emmett Trappe of Monona; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Trappe; and paternal great-grandparents, Michael and Mary Howe and William and Marie Sass.

Honorary casketbearers were Dustan and Julie Berns. Casketbearers were Delandra's grandfathers, George Howe and Mark Trappe; and cousins McKenna Hein and Tryston Howe.
