Otto Tuecke Rites Held
Funeral services were held from St. John American Lutheran church Monday afternoon for Otto A. Tuecke, 79, who died last Friday at his home here following a long illness.

The services were conducted by Rev. E.W. Kraemer, pastor of St. John church, and burial was in the Guttenberg City cemetery in charge of the Tuecke funeral home. Pallbearers for the service were Orville Tuecke, Carl Tuecke, Willard Tuecke, Roland Tuecke, Donald Schroeder and John Esslinger.

Born in Guttenberg on December 31, 1877, Mr. Tuecke was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tuecke. He married Matilda Schroeder and the couple made their home on a farm until retiring to Guttenberg.

Surviving Mr. Tuecke are Mrs. Tuecke, Mrs. Orville Duwe of Clayton, and one son, Raymond Tuecke of Guttenberg. Also surviviing are five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Schroeder of Guttenberg, Mrs. V.G. Drumb of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. John Greener of Chicago, Illinois, and one brother, John Tuecke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mr. Tuecke was preceded in death by a brother, William and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Esslinger and Mrs. Louise Mahowald.

Friends and relatives from out-of-town who attended the funeral of Otto Tuecke on Monday were Mr. and Mrs. John Tuecke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Mrs. J.L. Greener of Chicago, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mueller, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Tuecke, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Tuecke and Mrs. Stella Meehan of Garnavillo; Mr. and Mrs. John Luepker, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schroeder, Mrs. Rudolph Garms and Mrs. Walter Duwe of Monona; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schierholz of Colesburg and Mrs. Ray Herboldsheimer, Paul and Gloria of Mt. Vernon.
