Myrna Jean Eberhardt
Funeral services were held for Myrna Jean Eberhardt, 65, Sunday, January 30, 1994, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Centre. Pastor Ellen Taube officiated and the service with burial in the Clayton Centre Cemtery. Pallbearers were Ronnie Reimer, Louis Eberhardt, Leonard Donnon, Bob Kramer, Ken Hoeger, and Milt Kramer.
Myrna Eberhardt was born March 24, 1928, at Millville, Iowa, the daughter of Homer and Grace (Smith) Donnan. She graduated from the Guttenburg High School, in 1945, finished the Rockford (Illinois) Beauty School, in 1947, completed the Capri Cosmetology College in Dubuque in 1965, and owned and operated Myrna's Magic Mirror at her home near Clayton Centre for many years. On May 17, 1948, she was united in marriage with Floyd Eberhardt, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Centre. Myrna Eberhardt died Thursday, January 27, 1994, at the Guttenburg Municipal Hospital following a long illiness.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Amy (James) Hoeger of Farmersburg, Mrs. Jane (Mickey) Keeley of Soliders Grove, Wisconsin, Mrs. Jean (Charles) Heaney of Kneeland, California, and Mrs. Sara (Scott) Jensen, Cedar Falls, one son Jerry Eberhardt of Garnavillo, eight grandchildren, and one brother, Leonard "Pete" Donnan of North Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Leila Wilke.
