Services For Harley Radloff Sr.
Harley J. Radloff, 83, of Chandler, Arizona and formerly of Postville, Iowa died at his home on Tuesday February 24, 1998 after a long illness. He was born January 6, 1915 in Luana, Iowa and had been a part-time resident of Chandler and Postville, since 1965 when he moved to Chandler 7 years ago. Before his retirement. Harley was a farmer, and built and managed the bowling alley in Postville, as well as was greens-keeper for the Tri-City Golf Course for 16 years.
Memorial services were held Sunday, March 1, 1998, 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Lutheran Church, Gilbert, with Rev. Richard Paustian officiating.
Survivors include his wife Mary, of Chandler, daughter Lois Meyer and her husband, Keith of Mesa, Arizona, 2 sons, Bruce of Anaheim Hills, California, and his companion, Mary, and Harley Jr. and his wife, Valetta of Postville, a brother VerDean and a sister Donna Mae Olson also of Postville, Iowa. There are 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Lillian Jacobis and a grandson Lane Radloff.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Heritage Lutheran Church 14001 E. Ray Road, Gilbert, Arizona 85296. Cards will reach the family at 15606 S. Gilbert Road #112, Chandler, Arizona 85224. Falconer Funeral Home of Gilbert, Arizona handled the arrangements.
His wife was Mary W. Gentz she died October 26, 2003
