Amber Meyer Rites June 21, 1993.
Amber Meyer 82 of Garnavillo died June 18, 1993 at Central Community Hospital in Elkader, Ia.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on June 21, 1993 at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg, conducted by Pastor Karl Goodfellow. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, rural Osterodck, Ia. with the following casketbearers: Harold H. Peters, John McDowell Jr., LaVerne Troester and Jeff Harbaugh.

Amber Idella Meyer was born Aug. 31, 1910 in rural Colesburg, a daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Hyde) Brown. She attended Council Bluffs School for the Deaf. She was a homemaker, and mother.

Surviving are one daughter, Esther Brown of Cedar Rapids; one grandson Dale L. (and Diane) Brown of Edgewood, and one granddaughter Deb Brown of Elkader, and three great-grandchildren, Misty, David, and Michael; one brother Dale O. Brown of Strawberry Point; one sister Zala Troester of Garnavillo, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Pearl Peters, Ona Brown, Ethel McDowell, and Mildred Jones; and three brothers, Raymond, Daymond, and Delbert.

Garnavillo- Amber I. Meyer, 82, died Friday morning in Central Community Hospital, Elkader, after a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial: Bethel Cemetery, rural Osterdock.

Survivors include a daughter, Esther Brown of Cedar Rapids; a brother Dale O. Brown of Strawberry Point; and a sister, Zala Troester of Garnavillo.
