Robbers Arrested - 1883

The Dubuque Democrat of Tuesday says: "Marshal L. G. Webb of McGregor came down last evening for Burt Vandyke and Pat. Riley, two young fellows from the Pocket City, who are wanted for robbing the residence of Mrs. Bowers, a boarding house keeper, of $50 in cash and some jewelry. They had been arrested by the railroad police on Saturday night. Marshal Webb took them along on the 7 o'clock train."
