Elkader Register Thursday Morning February 20, 1879
Hoth-Bucheim---At Clayton Center, February 14th, at the German Lutheran Church, by Rev. Mr. Seifert, Mr. Charles Hoth and Miss Margaret Bucheim, all of Clayton Center.
The wedding was one of the largest that has taken place in this county for sometime friends from all parts of the county being present. The Elkader Cornet Band furnished music for the occasion. The ceremony was performed at 11 o'clock a.m. after which the company adjourned to the home of the brides parents, where a dinner, such as epicures delight in, was spread and all partook bounitfully of it. The bride and groom are both too well known to need any special recomendation. Thus wish of their many friends is that they may enjoy a long and pleasant wedded life, in which the Register joins.
