Wickham - Elsbury marriage - 1952

Saturday, Dec. 20, occurred the marriage of Miss Delores Wickham, daughter of Lloyd Wickham of West Union, and Ervin Elsbury of Strawberry Point. The ceremony took place at the Methodist church in Strawberry Point with the Rev. Wayne Carlson, pastor, officiating. Attendants were the bride's sister, Mrs. Joyce Iverson of Waterloo and Virgil Iverson, also of Waterloo.

The bride attended the Volga public school a few years ago when she resided with the John Homewood family, who tenanted the Dan Lowe farm west of town at that time.

The new couple will reside at Lamont, where the groom is employed by Paul Streicher.
