Zerkle - Martin marriage - 1957

ZERKLE, MARTIN, SYVERSON, ROEDER

Miss Lois Martin and Robert H. Zerkle were married Saturday, Feb. 02, in the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Elsie Martin of Elkader, and Mr. Zerkle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Evart Zerkle of Cambridge, Wis. The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Roy A. Syverson. Carl Roeder, uncle of the bride, ushered.

Mrs. Zerkle is a graduate of Elkader high school, the Evanston hospital school of nursing, and Northwestern university. She has been employed by the Evanston hospital for the past several years. Mr. Zerkle attended Ft. Atkinson high school and is employed as a pattern-maker in Madison, Wis.

The new couple will make their new home in Cambridge, Wis.
