Sunday December 12th Miss Irma Morley and Mr. Harley Glawe were united in marriage at the St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church in Garber. The Rev. Walter Vonderohe officiated. Miss Morley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer C. Morley of Garber. Mr. Glawe is the son of Mrs. Herman Glawe of St. Olaf. The bride's sister, Miss Una Morley, was maid of honor, and Mrs. Harold Glawe, sister-in-law of the groom, was bridesmaid. Ushers were Eileen Fette, a niece of the groom, and Buddy Hyde, a friend of the bride. The groom was attended by his twin brother, Harold Glawe as best man, and George Porter as groomsman.
The bride is a graduate of the Elkport school and a summer school graduate of the Upper Iowa University in Fayette. For the past 2 1/2 years she has been a teacher in the rural school. Her husband is a graduate from St. Olaf rural area school and for the past five years has operated in partnership with his twin brother a farm, where the new couple's home will be made.
