Palas - Glawe marriage - 1948

PALAS, GLAWE, LEUCHTENMACHER

Miss Vera Mae Glawe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Glawe of near St. Olaf, was married Monday, Sept. 20, to LuVern L. Palas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luver Palas of near St. Olaf. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated in the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. Miss Lavonn Palas, sister of the groom, was maid 0f honor, and Miss Delores Wilker and Mrs. Clifford Leuchtenmacher, a sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. Burnell Glawe, brother of the bride was best man. Ushers were John Palas and Clifford Leuchtenmacher.

After a wedding trip the new couple will make their new home on the Geo. Buehl farm three miles west of St. Olaf.
