Miss Arline L. Hall, Elkader, became the bride of Bernard L. Fisher, son of Mrs. Fern McLane, Strawberry Point, Feb. 01, at the Congregational Christian church. The Rev. Herbert G. Kelly officiated. Glenn Farrell of Jefferson, Iowa, a cousin of the bride, sang three selections. Mrs. F. E. Sharp, Jr., of Chicago, sister of the bride, was Matron of honor, and F. E. Sharp, Jr., of Chicago, served as best man.
The new couple left that evening on a two weeks' trip to Monterey, Mexico.
The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school, Coe college at Cedar Rapids and St. Luke's school of Nursing at Cedar Rapids. She was associated with Sutter's General hospital at Sacramento, Calif., and has been Superintendent of the Community hospital at West Union the past year. Her husband is a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and is a veteran of World War Ii. He attended Iowa University until a year ago when he became associated with the Elkader Motor company, in Elkader, where the couple will live.
