The marriage of Ernest W. Thyer, son of Mrs. Minnie Thyer, and Miss Irene W. Farrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Farrell, took place Tuesday, June 20, at the St. Sebald church. Both are graduates of the local high school, the bride was a member of the class of 1950. Since the groom graduated he has been operating his mother's farm west of town, with the exception of two years spent in the service during World War II. The bride's attendant was Mrs. Kenneth Roys, the groom was attended by Kenneth Roys. Miss Jean Roys sang "Always."The new couple left on a motor trip to Troy, Ohio, to visit the bride's sister, Mrs. A. J. Kozul and family.
