Trumblee - Rippon marriage - 1945

TRUMBLEE, RIPPON, THIBADEAUX

Miss Mary Ellen Rippon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rippon of Dundee, became the bride of LaVon Trumblee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Trumblee, Friday afternoon. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated at the Emanuel Lutheran church. Miss Betty Thibadeaux of Delhi, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Duane Trumblee, brother of the groom, was best man. Miss Barbara Vanter and John Trumblee, also a brother of the groom, were also attendants.

Mrs. Trumblee graduated as valedictorian of her class from the Dundee high school this spring. The groom attended the Strawberry Point high school. They will live on a farm near Dundee.
