Burgett - Susie marriage - 1943

The marriage of Miss Jennie A. Susie and Delos Burgett of Strawberry Point took place Thursday, Nov. 11, at nine o'clock in the evening at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips. The Rev. D. V. Butler officiated.

For a number of years the bride taught in the elementary department of the Volga City public school.

Those present at the ceremony were Mrs. Faye Burgett, Bernadeen and Robert Burgett Strawberry Point; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kitterman and family Mr. and Mrs. Glen Moats and Nancy.

The couple are at home in the bridegroom's farm near Strawberry Point.
