Feeney - Rothmeyer marriage - 1943

Miss Mary Rothmeyer, daughter of George . Rothmeyer, and Gerald J. Feeney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Feeney, both of Elkader, were married here Saturday, July 03, in St. Joseph's church. Rt. Reverend Msgr. James P. Taken officiated. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rothmeyer of Milwaukee, Wis., brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Feeney, a graduate of the Elkader Public school and State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls, has been for a number of years a teacher here in the public school. Her husband is engaged in farming.

After July 15th they will be at home on the farm of the groom west of Elkader.
