Berry - Wenzel marriage - 1943

STRAWBERRY POINT: The marriage of Miss Ivanell Wenzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wenzel of Strawberry Point, and Gerald Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Berry of Arlington, was solemnized Sunday evening, Jan. 24, in the Lutheran parsonage at Elkport, the Rev. A. H. Guetlaff officiating. Attendants were Miss Isla Jean Kuehl, cousin of the bride, and Marvin Wenzel, brother of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and has been teaching in the Clayton County rural schools. The groom graduated from the Arlington high school, after which he majored in mechanical engineering at Iowa State college. The couple will be at home on a farm northwest of Arlington.
