Frommelt - Bailey marriage - 1947

Miss Dorothy Mae Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bailey, Fayette, and Loran F. Frommelt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frommelt, Elkader, were married Thursday, Sept. 18, in St. Joseph church here. The Very Rev. B. H. Skahill, pastor, officiated. Miss Elfrieda Mohr acted as bridesmaid and Merlin Frommelt served his brother as best man.

Mrs. Frommelt is a graduate of the Fayette high school and since has been employed as cashier for the Interstate Power company at West Union and Elkader. Her husband is a graduate of St. Joseph high school. He is a veteran of three year's service, sixteen months of which were spent in the European theater. Since his discharge he has been employed with the Elkader Dry Cleaners.

The new couple will be at home in the Marcsisak apartment on the west side.
