Houg - Henkes marriage - 1940

At a ceremony performed by the Rev. H. W. Radeuge, pastor of the Evangelical church at Monona, Dorothy Henkes, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Henkes, and Vernon Houg, youngest son of Mrs. C. Houg, all of Farmersburg, were united in marriage Thursday. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Henkes, brother and sister-in-law if the bride. The bride is a graduate of the Farmersburg high school and studied music at the conservatory at Monona. They will make their home on the groom's mother's farm near St. Olaf.
