Fisher - Possehl marriage - 1940

Miss Darlene Possehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Possehl, and Eugene Fisher were united in marriage at the Lutheran church in Strawberry Point on Friday August 23, 1940, by the Rev. Max Jahr, pastor. The bride was attended by Miss Florence Nelson and the groomsman was George Fisher, brother of the groom. Little Maxine Bowers of Lamont, cousin of the bride, was the trainbearer.

Mrs. Fisher is a graduate of the Edgewood high school, class of 1939, and has lived there nearly all her life. The bridal couple left for Cedar Falls where Mr. Fisher is connected with a construction company.
