Fenchel - Schuchmann marriage - 1940

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Agnes Schuchmann, daughter of Mrs. Ida Schuchmann of Strawberry Point, and Bernard Fenchel of Cedar Rapids, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fenchel of Strawberry Point, were married Thursday at St. Sebald Lutheran church with Rev. Paul Eilers officiating. The couple were attended by Miss Leta Schuchmann, sister of the bride, and Berdine Fenchel, brother of the groom. Recessional and processional music was played by Mrs. Theodore Schuchmann, sister-in-law of the bride. The bride graduated from the local high school in 1937, and has been a rural school teacher and clerk in the Variety store. The groom graduated from the local public school in 1934. The newlyweds will make their home in Cedar Rapids, where the groom is employed in the Cartwright Decorating shops.
