Schroeder _ Dettman marriage - 1939

SCHROEDER, DETTMAN, BACKHAUS

Miss Dorothy Dettman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dettman of Garnavillo, and Delos Schroeder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schroeder of Jefferson township, were united in marriage on Thursday, Nov. 23. The Rev. A. Meyer officiated. The attendants were Miss Laurene Backhaus, cousin of the groom, and Norbert Dettman, the bride's brother. The young couple will live on a farm near Garnavillo.
