Benzing - Jones marriage - 1939

LUANA: Miss Irene Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jones, of the vicinity of Ion, and Robert Benzing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Benzing, of Farmersburg, were married Nov. 23, at the Monona Methodist parsonage by Rev. Farnham. They were attended by Miss Betty Benzing, sister of the groom, and Wayne Flack, cousin of the bride. A 5:00 dinner was served at the home of the bride's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Brown of Luana, to the immediate relatives of the bridal party. The bride attended the Luana consolidated school and has lived in this vicinity for a number of years. The groom attended the Monona high school. They will establish their home in Monona, where the groom is employed.
