MONONA: A very pretty fall wedding occurred in the local Methodist church, Saturday, when Miss Audrey Georgina Fritz, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. J. Fritz, and Charles L. Lehman, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Lehman of Algona, were married by the Rev. George W. Turner.
The attendants were Miss Iola Lehman of Des Moines, as maid of honor, Mrs. Kermit Klinge of Monona as matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Asop Fogdal of Cedar Falls and Miss Helen Gibbs of Lamotte, Iowa. The brides only brother, Norbert Fritz, was the best man, and Burdette Agard of Algona, and Leonard Lauritzen of Des Moines were ushers.
Mrs. Lehman is a graduate of the local high school and received her B.A. in Elimentary education at Iowa State teachers college in 1936. Since which time she has taught in the Williamsburg and Algona schools. Her husband is a graduate of the Algona high school and is sales manager of the Kenth motor company at Algona, where the new home will be made.
