Meyer - Bruns marriage - 1939

Gwendolyn Bruns of Cresco and Allen Meyer of Elkader, were united in marriage in the Evangelical church, April 12, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Mary Meyer, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Vernon Glawe, cousin of the bride, was the groom's attendant. The new couple will be at home on the farm owned by Mrs. Herman Meyer, which the groom has been operating for the past five years.
