Sargent - Chappell marriage - 1939

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Grace Chappell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chappell, of near Volga, and Elwin Sargent, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harford Sargent, of Strawberry Point, were married at the St. Sebald church, northwest of Strawberry Point, Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, the Rev. Paul Eilers, officiating. Attendants were Miss Jewell Halverson of Volga, and Glenn Chappell, brother of the bride. The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point public school in 1937. The groom has been assisting with farm work. The home will be made with the bride's parents for the present.
