GARNAVILLO: Miss Maxine Schulte, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schulte, and Dr. E. H. Kuennen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kuennen, were married Tuesday, January 24, at St. Joseph's church. The Rev. Scharphoff officiated. They will make their home with the bride's parents, where Mrs. Kuennen will continue to operate the Maxine beauty salon. The bride graduated from Garnavillo high school in 1936 and finished the course in the Waterloo School of Beauty Culture, where she was affiliated with the Kappa Delta Chi. The groom attended Champion high school at Prairie du Chien in 1932 and was at Columbia college in Dubuque and was graduated from the Dental college of the Iowa State University in 1938 and since that time has been practicing here. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Delta.
