Berns - Koerperick marriage - 1939

MONONA: Miss Lucille Koerperick and Leo Berns were married Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic church in Monona, the Rev. Father Luke Donlon officiating.

Attendants were Miss Agnes Berns, sister of the groom, and Edwin Koerperick, of Farley, brother of the bride.

Mrs. Berns is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Koerperick of Farley, and graduated from Mercy hospital Dubuque in August 1938, since which time she has been employed in the community hospital in Postville. Mr. Berns is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Berns of Monona, a graduate of the local high school and a capable farmer.

After March 01 the new couple will be at home on the Henry Wilke farm near Postville.
