Melcher - Schaefer marriage - 1938

MONONA: Miss Helen Schaefer, the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Schaefer, and Earl Melcher, the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Melcher, were married Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic church. The Rev. Father Luke Donlon officiated. Shirley Nichols, niece of the bride, and William Seglar, friend of the couple, were the attendants. The new home will be in the Neubauer residence in Monona, and the groom will continue to work the Joe Melcher farm.
