Bruns - Aulerich marriage - 1937

MONONA: Miss Florence Pauline Aulerich and Otmar Bruns were married Thanksgiving Day in the Lutheran church, Rev. H. W. Siefkes officiating. Attending the bride was her cousin, Miss Vera Aulerich, as maid of honor, and her sister, Miss Dorleen Aulerich, and Irene Miller as bridesmaids. Newton M. Benzing of Monona, and Donald Mohning of LeMars, the latter a cousin of the groom, attended Mr. Bruns. Flower girls were Mildred Bruns, cousin of the groom, and Joan Schultz of Postville, cousin of the bride. The bride's father, Emil F. Aulerich, gave her away. The bride is a graduate of Luana high school and has been active in 4-H club work. The groom is the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Bruns, and is a farmer. They will be at home on the George L. Bruns farm, south of Monona.
