Garaghty - Todd marriage - 1937

Miss Harriet M. Todd, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Connell of Marquette, and J. Eldon Garaghty, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Garaghty of Elkader, were married at St. Mary's church in McGregor, Sept. 09, Rev. J. J. Horsefield officiating. The couple were attended by Corinne Garaghty of Elkader and Martin Connell of Waterloo. Mrs. Garaghty is a graduate of Monona high school and later attended Iowa State Teacher's college. Mr. Garaghty is a graduate of St. Joseph's high school in the class of '32 and since has had two years of junior college and last year was a student at Iowa State Teacher's college. They will live at Chicago, where Mr. Garaghty has employment.
