GARNAVILLO: St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church was the scene of the first local June wedding when Miss Kathryn Kregel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kregel, exchanged vows with Mr. Ray Lange, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Lange of Garner, at a ceremony which took place June 08 at 2 p.m. The Rev. M. J. Harder, pastor, officiated. Verda Mae Kregel, sister of the bride, and Glen Lange, brother of the groom, were the attendants. The bride is a graduate of Garnavillo high school and attended Elkader junior college. The groom has been tester for the Garnavillo Cow Testing association for the past several years. He attended Iowa State College at Ames. They will make their home on the Kregel farm west of Garnavillo.
