VOLGA: The marriage of Miss Marjorie Voshell to Francis Kitterman both of this place, occurred Saturday, Nov. 28, at Oelwein. Rex. Hauteur, pastor of the Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Peterman, also of Volga. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. F. I. Phillips, attended the local high school, and graduated with the class of 1928, after which she attended Cornell college at Mt. Vernon, for one year. After taking nurse's training in Chicago she was graduated from the West Side hospital in June, 1936. The groom is the son of Mrs. Jennie Jennings, also attended the local high school and graduated in the same class as the bride. Since that time he has assisted on the farm of his mother, and the last few years has been employed in the J. H. Whitford lumber business. The new home will be made here.
