Lauher - Gossman marriage - 1936

The marriage of Helen Gossman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Gossman, and Aaron Lauher, son of Mrs. Theodore Scharf, Gary, Ind., took place last Wednesday at the Evangelical church, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Miss Loretta Gossman, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, while Harold Seeland was the groom's attendant. Miss Rosalind Gossman, cousin of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly." Following the wedding dinner the new couple left for their home in Chicago, where the groom is employed as a railway mail clerk. The bride attended the Elkader public school, while the groom is a graduate of Oakland Township high school, Oakland, Ill., and also attended the University of Illinois.
