Miss Mildred W. P. Kuehl, youngest daughter of Mr. J. J. Kuehl, and Malcom C. Stoops, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stoops, Jr., were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Evangelical church, Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. The attendants were Miss G. Ivanell Kuehl, niece of the bride and Burnell C. Stoops, brother of the groom. The bride attended the Elkader Public School and graduated with the class of 1927. She has been employed on the soil conservation work of the Farm Bureau office. The groom attended the Elkader Public School and graduated with the class of 1930. He is now employed with Hyde and Walch of Elkader. The bride's sisters, Mrs. M. R. Scullen of Lufkin, Texas, and Mrs. Milton Klink of Elkader, were waitresses at a wedding dinner after the ceremony at the home of the bride's father.
