Two 16-year-old North Buena Vista girls ran away from their homes last week Thursday, according to information given to Sheriff L. J. Palas last Monday.
The girls - Lulu Pierce and Rosemary Hefel - left their homes without saying anything to their parents. The last heard of either of them was in a letter which had been mailed in Austin, Minn.
Their departure was first announced over the state police radio yesterday morning, and any information as to their whereabouts should be given to the sheriff's office here.
The parents of the girls know no reason why they should want to run away, and they are worried over the continued absence.
