Miss Genevieve Powers, daughter of Mrs. Anna Powers of Guttenberg, and Mr. Benedict Roehl, son of Mrs. Petronella Roehl, of New Market, Minn., were married by Rev. J. A. Dupont at St. Mary's Catholic church here on the morning of June 29. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Trainer of Clinton, brother-in-law and sister of the bride. After the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Powers. The newlyweds will make their home at LaCrosse, Wis., where the groom is employed. The bride is a graduate of Guttenberg high school and Iowa State Teachers college. For the past several years she has been engaged in teaching in the school of Clayton county.
