GUTTENBERG: Miss Frances E. Dams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dams, of Guttenberg, and Mr. Ernst L. Thiese, son of Ferdinand Thiese of Clayton township were married by the Rev. Martin Peters at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church in Guttenberg on Saturday afternoon. Miss Esther Dams, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, while Ferdy Thiese, brother of the groom, was best man. Miss Hilda Thiese, cousin of the groom, and a cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Two cousins of the bride were flower girls. The bride is a graduate of Guttenberg high school. The groom attended the Guttenberg high school. The new couple will reside at Dubuque, where the groom is employed.
