At the Methodist church here, Thursday, Miss Florence Follon of Volga City became the wife of Lester Wenger, of Clermont. Rev. Chamberlin, pastor of the church, officiated. The attendants were Miss Katherine Follon, sister of the bride, as maid of honor; Isabelle Wenger, sister of the groom, and Leota Germar, and Edward Krueger, cousin of the groom, as best man. Ushers were Gustave Krueger and Ronald Moore. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Follon of Volga City and graduated from Volga high school in 1930, attended Upper Iowa University at Fayette and Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls, She has taught school for some time now. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wenger of Clermont. He graduated from Elgin high school in 1927, and later attended Coe college. He has been employed the past two years in California. The new home for the couple will be on the farm of the bride's parents near Volga.
