Erickson - Gulsvig marriage - 1912

At the Marion Lutheran church at Gunder, on Wednesday, 29 May, occurred the marriage of Bertie Marie Gulsvig to Benjamin Harrison Erickson. Clara Erickson, a sister of the groom, and Cornelius Olson, a cousin of the bride, escorted the bride and groom to the alter, followed by Clara Gulsvig, a sister of the bride, and Edwin Olson, a cousin of the bride. Rev. N. Arveson, Pastor of the Lutheran church, tied the nuptial knot. About three hundred guests repaired to the bride's home where a reception was given, and at six o'clock a wedding supper was served. The new couple will reside on the old Erickson homestead in Marion township.
