Thurn - Wait marriage - 1912

A very pretty wedding occurred on Wednesday, June 05th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Wait in Lodomillo township, near Edgewood, when their daughter, Miss Grace M. Wait, was united in marriage with Mr. Isaac Thurn. They were attended by John Thurn and Miss Laura Funk, and S. M. Stalnaker, of Littleport, officiated. The bride is a graduate of Edgewood High School and the Kansas City school of dressmaking, while the groom is one of Lodomillo's prosperous young farmers. The new couple left for Worden, Wash., and other western points, after which they will return and be at home on Mr. Thurn's farm in Lodomillo township.
